Academic Eligibility: Merit Scholarships

The renewable Merit Scholarships are awarded for no more than three consecutive years for those admitted under the Master of Divinity program; two years for those enrolled in the Master of Arts program; or one year for those enrolled in the Master of Sacred Theology. In order to renew, Merit Scholarships require that a student maintain at least a 3.5 GPA and complete 36 credits each year at PTS. Scholarships are not transferable to another institution for the dual degree programs.

The cumulative GPA and credits will be evaluated at the end of the academic year. If the student fails to meet either of these requirements, the scholarship will not be reinstated.
