Advancement Staff

Carolyn Cranston '99, director of alumnae/i and church relations, has served as an administrator since 2000. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (B.S.) and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (M.Div.).Carolyn is ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA) and serves as a part-time associate pastor at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.
Nancy Hammond provides administrative assistance to Advancement Office. She joined the staff in 1984 and assumed her present position in 2000.
Amanda Kile, director of advancement, joined the IA staff in 2009. She earned her bachelor’s from the University of Pittsburgh. Amanda oversees the Seminary's Planned Giving program.
Connie Gundry Tappy, coordinator of development services, joined the advancement staff in 2009 and has served as project administrator of the Seminary-sponsored Zeitah Excavations since 1999. She earned her bachelor’s in religious studies from Westmont College and her master's in theological studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
