Welcome Alumnae/i of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and its antecedent institutions!
In our more than 200 years of existence, Pittsburgh Theological Seminary has prepared more than 10,000 persons for ministry and service. Today we count some 3,000 living alumnae/i among our graduates. These alums serve not only in traditional parish settings, but in the mission field, in schools, hospitals, service organizations, academic settings, secular employment, and many other places. We are proud of our alums and the tradition of service that they have carried out over all these many years.

This project, which is funded by the Lilly Endowment and by Hinton Rural Life Center, is a continuing education program aimed at developing and sustaining effective pastoral leadership in the small membership church (understood in this context as those congregations that average 100 or less at the principal weekly worship service). It targets pastors who are (1) age 35 or younger, (2) serving their first full-time pastorate, (3) which is a small membership church. The program is ecumenical, i.e. open to clergy of all denominations. Applications are currently be accepted for the next group. Learn more online.
