Conference Explores Asian American Ministry
Pittsburgh Theological Seminary will host the first of three Con.Fluence Conferences June 9-11, 2010. Con.fluence is a three-year project seeking to bring together pastors, Christian educators, and lay leaders serving in the areas of education and evangelism/outreach as well as scholars from related fields to arrive at a shared vision and direction for Asian American churches.
Con.Fluence Project Director, the Rev. Dr. Timothy Son, assistant professor of Christian education and youth ministry at PTS, will lead the group in discussing how the scene of Asian-American churches is changing. They will identify these changes and what issues and concerns emerge from them.
This conference is sponsored by the Office of Asian American Leadership (PCUSA) and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. To learn more visit www.theconfluenceproject.org or e-mail email@example.com.
