Preaching Association Coordinator

Reports to: Dean of Students

Hours: 5 hours per week

Duties:

• Publicize the availability of the Preaching Association at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary through a brochure
• Regularly check the Preaching Association voicemails
• Respond to requests from local churches who are interested in having pulpit supply, and respond within two days of the initial contact
• In early September, recruit students of the Seminary who are interested in being active members of the Preaching Association.
• Inform students when opportunities are available. There will be the following priority system: Seniors first, Middlers second, Juniors third, followed by graduates
• Keep a record of churches that have been supplied and the students who have preached there, including any comments from students about the experience as well as comments from churches.
