Dear Prospective Students, 

At Pittsburgh Theological Seminary we know that a visit to campus is very important in your decision making process; therefore, we provide several opportunities each year for prospective students to make visits to the Seminary. There's something to be said for the Pittsburgh Experience- our four annual visitation events. To really get to know us, it will be important for you to visit campus, hear from faculty, meet with admissions and financial aid staff members, and fellowship with current students. All of these are helpful as you continue to explore and make decisions about your seminary education.
 

Each year we begin our visitation schedule with the early January Pittsburgh Experience: Epiphany. Our best attended event, this visitation date is held during the college mid-year break period. An epiphany theme runs throughout this day of faculty workshops, tours, and information sessions designed for prospective students.

In March, we host the Pittsburgh Experience: Spring Journey. This visit program allows students to visit campus in a retreat-style setting.

The Pittsburgh Experience: Summer Discovery is held each June. Summer tends to be a quieter time on campus, but this particular day will be bustling as the the annual Summer Leadership Conference takes place at PTS. Part of your day will be spent in sessions particularly geared toward prospective students, but at other times, you will join the conference participants for worship and a workshop presentations by faculty members.

Rounding out the year, we invite you to the Pittsburgh Experience: OctoberQuest. This robust and enlivening day of discovery provides a festival of exploration.

Students unable to attend one of these four events are encouraged to schedule a visit to campus on date you choose.

Individual Visits

Individuals are also welcome to make pre-arranged visits to our campus at their convenience. Prospective students are welcome to attend classes, participate in campus events, meet with admissions staff and faculty, and interact with current students. Please contact the Admissions Office as far in advance as possible to arrange for such a visit. If you are coming from a distance, campus housing will be available. Contact the Admissions Office or call 1-800-451-4194.
