Panel Discusses Urban Ministry Issues

Join us Fri., Jan. 17 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. for the Metro-Urban Institute panel discussion “Theological Formation and Contemporary Urban Ministry Challenges.” A reception will follow this public event.

Panelists include the Rev. Dr. Katie Day, Lutheran Theological Seminary, Philadelphia; the Rev. Dr. William H. Myers, Ashland Theological Seminary; the Rev. John Vaughn, Auburn Theological Seminary;  the Rev. Dr. Harold Dean Trulear, Howard University School of Divinity; and   Rev. B. De Neice Welch, senior pastor of Bidwell Presbyterian Church.

Additionally, the new MUI leadership team—Kimberly Merrell, director, and the Rev. Dr. R. Drew Smith, professor of urban ministry—will welcome participants.
