The Gospel of Mark: The Faith Journey of Discipleship / The Gospel of Mark is arguably a Gospel more about Jesus' discipleship training of the Twelve and the Twelve's own faith journey than it is about the person of Jesus per se. We will look at the five major "scenes" of the Gospel, the character development of the disciples, the struggle with fear and why Mark ends with "for they were afraid," and how the gospel's themes intersect with the call to discipleship in our own lives. This course will receive live feeds of the program at the above locations from the Seminary. Attendees will see and be seen by those at the Seminary and all three sites, and discussion will involve all sets of participants / Robert A.J.
