<title>PTS Board Names van Driel to Theology Position</title>

<description>Pittsburgh Theological Seminary Board of Directors has named Dr. Edwin Chr. van
Driel as an assistant professor of theology. van Driel currently serves as a post-doctoral
fellow in the department of theology at Fordham University. He was awarded degrees in
both theology and philosophy from Utrecht University in the Netherlands, and he received
two master's degrees and a doctorate in religious studies (theology) from Yale University.
van Driel's dissertation is entitled "Incarnation Anyway: Argument for Supralapsarian
Christology," and it will be published by Oxford University Press this summer. Originally
from the Netherlands, he currently lives in Bloomfield, Conn., where his wife, the Rev.
Kimberly Miller van Driel, serves as a pastor.</description>
