Special Projects

At any given time the Seminary has several special projects for which we are seeking gifts. We also welcome prospective donors to open conversations about gifts to new or innovative projects. Most commonly, these special projects include endowed scholarships, special lectureships, building projects, and endowment for special program areas.

Currently, the Seminary is seeking funding for several projects.

The new residence hall, completed in 2002, is still in need of completion of funding. Gifts of any size are welcome, but naming opportunities are available for gifts of $25,000 and greater.

We are securing our Summer Youth Institute program through the establishment of an endowment fund. Permanently endowed named scholarships for this program may be funded with a gift of $75,000. As always, gifts of any size are welcome, valued, and appreciated.

A central meeting room in Long Hall is currently undergoing renovations that will include equipment for distance education. A naming opportunity exists for a donor or donors particularly interested in this project.

In addition, special gifts are sought for endowment funds for our Metro-Urban Institute program, the World Mission Initiative, the Center for Business, Religion and Public Life, and the archaeological programs.

Our development staff can work with you to determine how your gift might have the most impact here at the Seminary, while also providing you with tax incentive through current or planned giving.
