Trips & Pilgrimages

The Department of Continuing Education intends to offer study-trips of various kinds to significant destinations annually for all who are interested. Detailed trip information will usually be available from nine to twelve months in advance of the departure date. The maximum number of participants will vary depending on the destination, and some trips are likely to fill rapidly. If you are interested in a specific trip, you may want to request that you receive the flyer as soon as it is available.

39 Rome and Italian Pilgrimage Site: A Spiritual Formation Pilgrimage

Rebecca Cole-Turner, spiritual director, counselor, workshop and retreat leader / Rome, with its catacombs and Appian Way, the Colosseum, ancient Christian sites, and major churches, including St. Peter’s, is a rich pilgrimage site all in itself. “The “eternal city” will be the place of residence for this pilgrimage, where participants will worship, learn, reflect, and pray together. A day trip to Benedict’s monastery in Subiaco and an overnight stay in Francis’ Assisi will round out the pilgrimage. / June 14-24, 2010 / Space limited and priority given to participants in the Spiritual Formation Program / Precise itinerary and costs available in late summer  2009.
