Christian Leadership Certificate

The Christian Leadership Certificate is a nonacademic program and is open to the public without regard to educational credentials beyond high school. Designed for persons interested in Christian leadership in the local congregation or community ministry, this program seeks to expand one's knowledge or scriptures as especially related to urban ministry. This is a two-year series of biblically oriented seminars focusing on urban ministry. Emphasis is on development of a working knowledge or scripture, practical ministry, Christian education, church-based community organizing, and evangelism strategies. Seminary meet once a week. Each student must also complete 180 hours of community volunteer service during their two years of student to receive 18 CLC credits hours in addition to the 18 CLC credit hours earned for seminar study. Upon competition of the 36 credit hours, a Christian Leadership Certificate may be granted. Seminary are not open for audit. Financial aid is available.
