2019-2020 Merit Scholarship Renewal

The PTS faculty voted to reduce the overall GPA requirement for merit scholarship renewal. Prior to 2019-2020, it was necessary to earn an overall 3.5 GPA for renewal. After the 2018-2019 grades are submitted, a student may qualify for renewal with a 3.0 overall GPA. This policy is not retroactive.

 

2019-2020 Tuition Cost

Thanks to the PTS Board of Directors, the tuition rate for 2019-2020 will remain the same as 2018-2019. There will be no increase in the Master's ($456/cr) or Doctor of Ministry tuition cost ($358/cr).

 

PTS Institutional Grants for Master's Degrees

The 2019-2020 PTS Financial Aid Application is available. Institutional need-based aid includes Tuition Grants, Housing Grants, and a Work-Support opportunity. Return the form to the Financial Aid Office and complete the FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov. 2019-2020 Work support job are posted; apply on-line.

 

Federal Loan Request for Master's Degrees

The 2019-2020 Master's Federal Direct Loan Request Form is available for fall and spring loans. Completed loan packets are processed throughout the year. Directions are available on the application or contact the Financial Aid Office at 412-924-1384. A separate form is available for the January and summer session.

  • 4.529 percent Undergraduate Direct Loans
  • 6.079 percent Graduate Direct Loans
  • 7.079 percent Graduate PLUS and Parent PLUS Loans
