I had some time to think about all I’ve experienced and learned this summer I thought it might be fun to make up a confessional list…merely for fun and memories not so academic.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n
1. \u00a0I’ve been craving good hot dogs and Chickfila since china.<\/div>\n
2. \u00a0I’ve slept in ten different beds this summer and started dreaming about my bed 4 or 5<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0beds ago.<\/div>\n
3. \u00a0I’ve dropped many a food while using chopsticks.<\/div>\n
4. \u00a0I took a taxi literally three blocks in south Korea as I was unable to find my hotel.<\/div>\n
5.\u00a0 I pet stray animals even though I was advised against it.<\/div>\n
6.\u00a0 It took several successful airport pick ups for me to trust that my hosts would meet me<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0and my luggage would arrive.<\/div>\n
7.\u00a0 I don’t like Kenyan tea……I LOVE Kenyan coffee!!!<\/div>\n
8.\u00a0 I recycled many a sermon.<\/div>\n
9.\u00a0 The Lord continued to open my eyes even when I wanted to shut them.<\/div>\n
10.\u00a0 I learned more about trusting the Lord than i ever have before.<\/div>\n
11.\u00a0 I ran in airports more times than I care to admit.<\/div>\n
12.\u00a0 As I rode through Nairobi national park, all the music from the lion king was stuck in<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0my head.<\/div>\n
13.\u00a0 I could have travelled a bit lighter.<\/div>\n
14.\u00a0 I lied on several occasions about having a boyfriend to avoid numerous marriage<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0proposals.<\/div>\n
15.\u00a0 I love Beijing duck…and china I think had the best food.<\/div>\n
16.\u00a0 I was mistaken for a Russian and German….which is part of my heritage so makes<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 sense.<\/div>\n
17.\u00a0 The lift to get to the great wall scared me….as did walking around the wall…but it was<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0so beautiful.<\/div>\n
18.\u00a0 South Korea wins the award for best tea and cutest tea houses.<\/div>\n
19.\u00a0 I’m a tall white American girl, and while I love Jesus, my dancing in worship is a<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0hilarious sight I’m sure.<\/div>\n
20.\u00a0 It really is a small world after all I taught members of my china English exchange<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0group improper southern English. Yes, I mean y’all Christians in the USA have so<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 much to be grateful for…yet we constantly take our Christianity for granted.<\/div>\n
21.\u00a0 I really enjoyed hearing Christmas music in June while driving to the great wall.<\/div>\n
22.\u00a0 While in south Korea, I secretly searched for the director of the dharma initivive and<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 miles…oh and sun and Jin from LOST.<\/div>\n
23.\u00a0 Though I spoke with so many amazing people and learned so much, I still have more<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 questions than answers.<\/div>\n
24.\u00a0 I hope I remember how to drive a car.<\/div>\n
25.\u00a0 On more than one occasion I looked the wrong way before crossing the street in<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Malaysia, Kenya and south Africa. I also tried to sit on the drivers side.<\/div>\n
26.\u00a0 In china, it was nice to join with other folks from the states and not be stared at by<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0myself.<\/div>\n
27.\u00a0 I got slightly teary eyed on fathers day hearing the Chinese version of this is my<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0fathers world.<\/div>\n
28.\u00a0 I saw giraffes in the wild….love them.<\/div>\n
29.\u00a0 When I heard Hanson on the radio in china, I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing.<\/div>\n
30.\u00a0 I went the wrong way thru customs…twice.<\/div>\n
31.\u00a0 Though this has been the most amazing and eye opening experience…I’ll even be<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0ready to hear the Pittsburgh accent this upcoming Tuesday….and even more ready to<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 hear a y’all.<\/div>\n
32.\u00a0 I drank the water in Kenya…and I’m still ok.<\/div>\n
33.\u00a0 People in other parts of world…china, Kenya and Malaysia especially trump southern<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0hospitality…sorry my fellow southerns we dont come close!<\/div>\n
34.\u00a0 I love, love, love…probably too much Chinese food.<\/div>\n
35.\u00a0 I kissed a giraffe<\/div>\n
36.\u00a0 Yes, I would do this summer over again in a heartbeat..though I’d like to bring friends<\/div>\n
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0and family with me next time!<\/div>\n
