Let's take a journey of the heart, a pilgrimage of spiritual imagination along the pathways of Celtic spirituality. Beginning with the fifrth century, we will explore the roots of this tradition as it grew within the churches in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England to the present day. What makes Celtic spirituality special? Is it the power of imagination, the sense of place, the connection with nature, or the sense of the presence of the Holy in all things? Is it the art of storytelling, the poetry of the tragic and the humorous, or the sensitivity to earth’s thin places? As we will discover, the answer is “yes” to all of these.
