Academic Affairs and Student Services

Leanna Fuller Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty As interim dean, Leanna works with the faculty to develop the Seminary's curriculum and academic policies as well as program and course offerings. As vice president, she oversees the operations of the Academic Affairs and related offices as well as admissions and enrollment.
Barbara Blodgett Associate Dean for Academic Programs, Assessment, and Field Education Barbara works with Seminary faculty, program offices, and other constituencies to provide academic coordination to further the Seminary's core educational mission, manages the assessment of student learning outcomes and accreditation, and oversees the Field Education program.
Ashley Johnson Associate Director for Student Services Ashley nurtures students’ vocational potential, plans and administrative support for formation activities and implementing department communications
Anne Malone Registrar and Student Support Specialist Anne manages the functions of the Registrar’s Office including the registration process for new and returning students, scheduling courses offered each semester, maintaining student academic records, processing transcript requests, and maintaining degree audits to certify students for graduation. Additionally, Anne provides curricular related pastoral and vocational support as a member of the student services team.
Holly McKelvey Administrative Assistant for Academic Support Holly supports the Center for Writing and Learning Support and the Associate Dean for Academic Programs, Assessment, and Field Education.
Mary O'Shan (Shan) Overton Director of the Center for Writing and Learning Support Shan oversees the Seminary's new Center for Writing and Learning Support. In this role she serves as a resource to students, faculty, and the broader community.
Kendra Buckwalter Smith Director of the Worship Program Kendra coordinates the Seminary’s worship program, which equips students for Christian ministries as faithful, thoughtful, and hospitable worshipers and worship leaders.
Ayana Teter Associate Dean for Students and Formation Ayana oversees all student support functions, including formation, vocation, placement, care teams, student organizations, and the Houses of Study. 
Derek Woodard-Lehman Administrative Assistant Derek assists in the day-to-day operations of the Dean of Faculty's office, including coordinating commencement.



Tracy Riggle Young Senior Director of Enrollment Services Tracy's work includes assisting students in discerning their calls to ministry while also ensuring their ongoing success while at seminary.
Ryan Jensema Associate Director of Financial Aid Ryan directs the financial aid program for students. This includes grants, scholarships, and loans. He also manages the Seminary's Work-Support Program.
Chris Taylor Admissions Counselor Chris serves prospective students to answer any questions related to the admissions process, scheduling a campus visit, or meeting different program directors or faculty.


Barbour Library

Michelle Spomer Director of Barbour Library Michelle oversees all aspects of the library.
Carrie Carter Electronic Resources Librarian Carrie manages electronic resources such as databases and ebooks, and maintains the library's online catalog.
Julien Donahoe  Acquisitions and Serials Librarian Julien develops acquisitions policies and procedures and orders library materials.
Mark C. Russell Research and Instruction Librarian Mark develops research and instruction programming that supports faculty research and student coursework and manages interlibrary loan services.
Darlene Veghts Head of Technical Services Darlene oversees all aspects of technical services including cataloging, serials, and materials processing.
Tisha Woo User Services Librarian Tisha manages circulation operations and develops programming, policies, and services that support user access to the library.


Business Office

Tom Hinds Vice President for Finance and Administration Tom oversees the financial and other administrative functions of the Seminary, including facilities, information technology, human resources, and food service. He is a member of the senior leadership team.
Kendra Eberhardt Senior Accountant Kendra's responsibilities include financial reporting, as well as the automation and implementation of accounting systems, procedures, and controls.
Ellen Frisco Assistant Controller Ellen manages the accounting and financial operations of the Seminary. 
Josie Hoover Director of Human Resources Josie is responsible for all human resources matters, including benefits, Title IX, and personnel. 
Diane Poznick Accountant - Student Accounts and Payroll Diane prepares and processes payroll for all PTS employees. She also performs a variety of accounts payable and other accounting activities.


Center for Adaptive and Innovative Ministry

Karen Rohrer Director of the Center for Adaptive and Innovative Ministry Karen oversee's the Seminary's Center for Adaptive and innovative Ministry, which supports Christian leaders who participate in God’s work of developing new Christian communities and revitalizing existing congregations. Jane Larson Program and Enrollment Coordinator for the Center for Adaptive and Innovative Ministry Jane guides prospective students through the admission process and facilitates student support and program initiatives for the Center for Adaptive and Innovative Ministry.


Continuing Education

Helen Blier Director of Continuing Education Helen determines the Seminary's CE offerings. She is working to develop new programs for church leaders and lay persons. Learn more about the program.
Lori Arnold Continuing Education Coordinator Lori manages the daily operations of this office and orchestrates support of its events.


Doctor of Ministry Program

Jane Larson Program and Enrollment Coordinator for the Doctor of Ministry Program Jane guides prospective students through the admission process and provides program support to the Doctor of Ministry Program.
Ramona Spencer Associate Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program Ramona coordinates the daily operations of the office, student support, and class preparation in the Doctor of Ministry Program. 



Tom Fulton Facilities Director Tom manages the facilities department which is charged with maintaining the Seminary's grounds.
Darryl Allen Custodian Darryl works in the student housing building to provide clean living spaces.
Bob Cieri Custodian Bob ensures that McNaugher is clean and welcoming to the PTS community and beyond.
Dan Holmes Director of Mail and Print/Copy Services Dan serves all members of the community in sorting and delivering the mail as well as coping and mailing a variety of communications.
Joe Mafrici Assistant Facilities Director Joe assists in managing the Seminary's facilities and can be found working in a variety of trades.
Robert Marnik Stationary Engineer Robert is the Seminary’s “comfort specialist” in charge of the heating and cooling operations.
John McMahon Building and Grounds Maintenance John provides custodial services in the Chapel and takes care for the grounds.
Walter Morgan Custodian Walter makes sure the newly renovated Barbour Library is clean for students and visitors to study.
Audrey Starr Custodian Audrey works to keep Long Hall clean and ready for special events and daily lectures.


Field Education

Barbara Blodgett Associate Dean for Academic Programs, Assessment, and Field Education Barbara directs the Seminary's Field Education program.
Holly McKelvey Administrative Assistant for Academic Support Holly provides support the Field Education program.


Information Technology

David Middleton Director of Information Technology David is in charge of the Seminary’s technology infrastructure including the Seminary’s network, servers, databases, websites, telephone system, printing resources, and software solutions as well as support for these systems.
Brian Fidell Network Administrator Brian assists the IT director in managing the Seminary's network including phones and e-mails. He provides IT support to employees.
Bobby Jarsulic   Audio Visual Technician Bobby offers A/V support to the Seminary community by providing event assistance and setting up equipment and/or software.
David Keys Database and Website Administrator David runs reports from the Seminary's database, oversees the functionality of the Seminary's website, and is in charge of the Seminary's website portal for students, faculty, and staff.


Institutional Advancement

Charles Fischer III Vice President for Seminary Advancement Charles directs all aspects of fundraising, alumni/ae and church relations, marketing and communications, and life-long learning activities at the Seminary.
Elizabeth Baisley Welcome Center Front Desk Coordinator Elizabeth works with internal and external groups to schedule PTS facilities and events, manages overnight housing, and welcomes visitors to campus at the Reception Desk.
Carolyn Cranston Director of Alumnae/i and Church Relations Carolyn works with alums to host the annual Alumnae/i Days events, Phonathon, and graduation brunch. Additionally, she is the liaison between the Seminary and supporting churches.
Erin Davenport Director of Strategic Initiatives and Special Projects Erin works to advance the Seminary through a variety of strategic initiatives. 
Erik Hoeke Writer Eriks is responsible for a variety of writing projects across the Seminary, including the Panorama and celebrations magazines plus seasonal devotionals among other work.
Hallie Isadore Database and Donor Services Specialist Hallie manages the Advancement computer databases and acknowledgement system related to donor and constituent relations. She assists with constituent events and communications.
Melissa Logan Senior Director of Communications Melissa oversees the Seminary's communications including print and online, social media, and website. Additionally, she is the contact for media relations.
Robin Menard Communications and Marketing Specialist Robin is responsible for advertising, marketing, and event promotion as it relates to the Seminary's resource programs.
Dominick Oliver Director of Development Dom directs the planning and implementation of all programs and activities associated with the Seminary's annual fund. In addition, he oversees donor services, along with planned and major gift giving.
Derek Woodard-Lehman Administrative Assistant Derek provides support the the Vice President for Seminary Advancement and assists in the day-to-day operations of the Advancement Office.


Kelso Museum

Jennifer Christmas Associate Curator Jennifer oversees and coordinates the operations of the Kelso Museum of Near Eastern Archaeology, and plans and coordinates production of museum exhibits. She also welcomes visitors and special groups to the museum, and conducts research on objects in the collection. Metro-Urban Institute

R. Drew Smith Professor of Urban Ministry and Director of the Metro-Urban Institute Drew leads the Metro-Urban Institute in engaging at urban intersections of religious and social life. MUI is an academic and community-building resource for urban ministries and organizations. Learn more about the program.
Ruth Boykin Associate Director of the Metro-Urban Institute Ruth helps develop Institute vision, nurtures program development, and cultivates urban intersections of religious and social life while building resources. 
Lisa Bunting Metro-Urban Institute Administrative and Program Assistant Lisa provides administrative support to MUI.


Miller Summer Youth Institute

Franklin Tanner Capps Director of the Miller Summer Youth Institute Tanner oversees the Miller Summer Youth Institute, which helps participants who God is calling them to be and what God is calling them to do. SYI offers a summer youth academy, college internship program, mission experiences, and youth training on site. Learn more about the Miller Summer Youth Institute.
Chris Taylor Miller SYI Program Coordinator Chris assists in the expansion of SYI by coordinating recruiting, planning, and running one of the academies and preparing for the summer mission experiences.


President's Office

Asa J. Lee President and Professor of Theological Formation for Ministry President Lee works with the Seminary's leadership team to determine the Seminary's core focus areas and new programs. He also frequently speaks at church and community events on behalf of the Seminary.
Andy Greenhow Chief of Staff and Secretary to the Board of Directors Andy provides executive-level support to the president and to the Board of Directors. He assists the president in special projects, handles correspondence to the Board, and coordinates all aspects of Board meetings.


World Mission Initiative

Hunter Farrell Director of the World Mission Initiative Hunter leads the mission focus at the Seminary that seeks to engage students in what God is doing in the world through short-term cross-cultural mission experiences and institutional partnerships. Learn more about the program.
Lisa Bunting World Mission Initiative Program Assistant Lisa provides administrative support to WMI.
Bala Khyllep Associate Director of the World Mission Initiative Bala helps develop mission vision, nurtures missionary vocation, and cultivates missional congregations through programs for students and churches.
