Academic Affairs and Student Services

 
Angela HancockVice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty As dean, Angela works with the faculty to develop the Seminary's curriculum and academic policies as well as program and course offerings. As vice president, she oversees the operations of the Academic Affairs and related offices as well as admissions and enrollment. Angela is a member of the senior leadership team. 
Dan Frayer-GriggsInterim Director of the Center for Writing and Learning Support and Visiting Assistant Professor of Bible Dan oversees the services and programming of the Seminary's Writing Center, offering support in theological writing and learning. Learn more about the Writing Center.
Ashley JohnsonAssociate Director for Student Services Ashley nurtures students’ vocational potential, and provides administrative support for formation activities and implementation of department communications.
Anne MaloneRegistrar and Student Support Specialist Anne manages the functions of the Registrar’s Office including the registration process for new and returning students, scheduling courses offered each semester, maintaining student academic records, processing transcript requests, and maintaining degree audits to certify students for graduation. Additionally, Anne provides curricular-related pastoral and vocational support as a member of the student services team.
Holly McKelveyAdministrative Assistant to the Vice President for Academic Affairs/Dean of Faculty and Faculty Holly assists in the day-to-day operations of the Dean of Faculty's Office.
Kendra Buckwalter SmithDirector of the Worship Program Kendra coordinates the Seminary’s worship program, which equips students for Christian ministries as faithful, thoughtful, and hospitable worshipers and worship leaders. Learn more about the Worship Program. 
Ayana TeterAssociate Dean for Students and Formation Ayana oversees all student support functions, including formation, vocation, placement, care teams, student organizations, and the Houses of Study. Additionally, she manages Seminary student housing. Ayana is a member of the senior leadership team. 

 

Admissions

 
Tracy Riggle YoungSenior Director of Enrollment Services Tracy's work includes assisting students in discerning their calls to ministry while also ensuring their ongoing success while at the Seminary. She is a member of the senior leadership team. 
Ryan JensemaAssociate Director of Financial Aid Ryan directs the financial aid program for students. This includes grants, scholarships, and loans. He also manages the Seminary's Work-Support Program.
Eric NolinAdmissions Counselor Eric serves prospective doctor of ministry students to answer any questions related to the admissions process, schedule a campus visit, or to help applicants discern which cohort is right for them.
Chris TaylorAdmissions Counselor Chris serves prospective master's students to answer any questions related to the admissions process, schedule a campus visit, or to arrange meeting different program directors or faculty.

Julien Donahoe Acquisitions and Serials Librarian Julien develops acquisitions policies and procedures and orders library materials.
Carrie NelsonElectronic Resources Librarian Carrie manages electronic resources such as databases and ebooks, and maintains the library's online catalog.
Mark C. RussellResearch and Instruction Librarian Mark develops research and instruction programming that supports faculty research and student coursework and manages interlibrary loan services.
Darlene VeghtsHead of Technical Services Darlene oversees all aspects of technical services including cataloging, serials, and materials processing.
Tisha WooUser Services Librarian Tisha manages circulation operations and develops programming, policies, and services that support user access to the library.

 

Business Office

 
Tom HindsVice President for Finance and Administration Tom oversees the financial and other administrative functions of the Seminary, including facilities, information technology, and food service. He is a member of the senior leadership team.
Ruth AllenAccountant/Payroll Ruth serves as an accountant and also handles the Seminary's payroll. 
Edward (Eddie) BrownAccounts Payable/Student Accounts Accountant In this role, Eddie assists with the Seminary's accounts payables and handles student accounts. 
Ellen FriscoAssistant Controller Ellen manages the accounting and financial operations of the Seminary. 
John StillwagonController John manages the accounting and financial operations of the Seminary and ensures compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, regulatory requirements, Board mandates, and appropriate business practices.

Donna Giver-JohnstonDirector Donna oversees all aspects of the Seminary's Doctor of Ministry Program.
Ramona SpencerAssociate Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program Ramona coordinates the daily operations of the office, student support, and class preparation in the Doctor of Ministry Program. 

 

Facilities

 
Tom FultonFacilities Director Tom manages the facilities department which is charged with maintaining the Seminary's grounds.
Darryl AllenCustodian Darryl works in the student housing building to provide clean living spaces.
Bob CieriCustodian Bob ensures that McNaugher is clean and welcoming to the PTS community and beyond.
Dan HolmesDirector of Mail and Print/Copy Services Dan serves all members of the community in sorting and delivering the mail as well as copying and mailing a variety of communications.
Joe MafriciAssistant Facilities Director Joe assists in managing the Seminary's facilities and can be found working in a variety of trades.
Robert MarnikStationary Engineer Robert is the Seminary’s “comfort specialist” in charge of the heating and cooling operations.
John McMahonBuilding and Grounds Maintenance John provides custodial services in the Chapel and takes care of the grounds.
Walter MorganCustodian Walter makes sure the newly renovated Barbour Library is clean for students and visitors to study.
Audrey StarrCustodian Audrey works to keep Long Hall clean and ready for special events and daily lectures.

Josie HooverDirector of Human Resources Josie is responsible for all human resources matters, including benefits, Title IX, and personnel. She is a member of the senior leadership team. 

Information Technology

 
David MiddletonDirector of Information Technology David is in charge of the Seminary’s technology infrastructure including the Seminary’s network, servers, databases, websites, telephone system, printing resources, and software solutions as well as support for these systems.
Brian FidellNetwork Administrator Brian assists the IT director in managing the Seminary's network including phones and e-mails. He provides IT support to employees.
Bobby Jarsulic  Audio Visual Technician Bobby offers A/V support to the Seminary community by providing event assistance and setting up equipment and/or software.
David KeysDatabase and Website Administrator David runs reports from the Seminary's database, oversees the functionality of the Seminary's website, and is in charge of the Seminary's website portal for students, faculty, and staff.
Simeon RodgersApplication and Database Specialist Simeon administers, supports, and provides day-to-day operations related to applications and databases, particularly for the PTS Neighborhood Collaborative. 

Institutional Advancement

 
Charles Fischer IIIVice President for Seminary Advancement Charles directs all aspects of fundraising, alumni/ae and church relations, and marketing and communications. He is a member of the senior leadership team. 
Elizabeth BaisleyWelcome Center Front Desk Coordinator Elizabeth works with internal and external groups to schedule PTS facilities and events, manages overnight housing, and welcomes visitors to campus at the Reception Desk.
Sarah BetzigCommunications Stategist Sarah writes for various Seminary publications, produces ministry resources for church and lay leaders, and serves the Neighborhood Collaborative by coordinating communications efforts across the  programs. 
Carolyn CranstonDirector of Alumnae/i and Church Relations Carolyn works with alums to host the annual Alumnae/i Days events, Phonathon, and graduation brunch. Additionally, she is the liaison between the Seminary and supporting churches.
Hallie IsadoreDatabase and Donor Services Specialist Hallie manages the Advancement computer databases and acknowledgment system related to donor and constituent relations. She assists with constituent events and communications.
Melissa LoganSenior Director of Communications Melissa oversees the Seminary's strategic vision for communications. Additionally, she is the contact for media relations. Melissa is a member of the senior leadership team. 
Robin MenardCommunications and Marketing Specialist Robin is responsible for advertising, marketing, and event promotion as it relates to the Seminary's public programming.
Dominick OliverDirector of Development Dom directs the planning and implementation of all programs and activities associated with the Seminary's annual fund. In addition, he oversees donor services, along with planned and major gift giving.
Derek Woodard-LehmanSeminary Advancement Coordinator Derek provides support to the Vice President for Seminary Advancement, coordinates the Seminary's grant writing efforts, and organizes special events.

 

Neighborhood Collaborative

 
Erin DavenportVice President for Strategic Initiatives and Continuing Education Erin identifies, leads, and develops strategic, mutually beneficial external partnerships with other organizations whose mission aligns with the Seminary. Additionally, she oversees the work of the PTS Neighborhood Collaborative, which exists to connect the learned theology of the academy with the lived theology of church and society to form present and future Christian leaders in service to their contexts. Erin is a member of the senior leadership team. 
Kristen PazmanAdministrative Assistant to the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives and Continuing Education Kristen supports the work of the vice president and the PTS Neighborhood Collaborative. 

Center for Adaptive and Innovative Ministry

Karen RohrerDirector of the Center for Adaptive and Innovative Ministry Karen oversees the Seminary's Center for Adaptive and innovative Ministry, which supports Christian leaders who participate in God’s work of developing new Christian communities and revitalizing existing congregations. Metro-Urban Institute

AnneMarie MingoDirector of the Metro-Urban Institute AnneMarie leads the Metro-Urban Institute in engaging at urban intersections of religious and social life. MUI is an academic and community-building resource for urban ministries and organizations. Learn more about the program.
Lisa BuntingMetro-Urban Institute Administrative and Program Assistant Lisa provides administrative support to MUI.
Sean ThomasAssociate Director of the Metro-Urban Institute Sean develops and coordinates MUI's advisory groups and community networks, leads the Graduate Certificate in Urban Ministry, mobilizes MUI's resources through grants and other means, and communicates MUI’s work and mission to community constituencies.

Miller Summer Youth Institute

Franklin Tanner CappsDirector of the Miller Summer Youth Institute Tanner oversees the Miller Summer Youth Institute, which resources churches in youth ministry and asks participants what God is calling them to do and who God is calling them to be. Chris TaylorMiller SYI Program Coordinator Chris assists in the expansion of SYI by coordinating recruiting, planning, and running one of the academies and preparing for the summer mission experiences.

World Mission Initiative

Hunter FarrellDirector of the World Mission Initiative Hunter leads the mission focus at the Seminary that seeks to engage students in what God is doing in the world through short-term cross-cultural mission experiences and institutional partnerships. Learn more about the program.

President's Office

 
Asa J. LeePresident and Professor of Theological Formation for Ministry President Lee works with the Seminary's leadership team to determine the Seminary's core focus areas and new programs. He also frequently speaks at church and community events on behalf of the Seminary.
Andy GreenhowChief of Staff and Secretary to the Board of Directors Andy provides executive-level support to the president and to the Board of Directors. He assists the president in special projects, handles correspondence with the Board, and coordinates all aspects of Board meetings.
