Christine Chakoian, vice president for Seminary advancement, oversees the Advancement Office operations. In the past 35 years, she has held positions at Presbyterian churches in Illinois, Oregon, Ohio, and New York. Chris is a graduate of the University of Illinois (B.A.), Yale University Divinity School (M.Div.), and McCormick Theological Seminary (D.Min.).

Tom Stevick, interim vice president for advancement, works with the Seminary’s friends and donors, focusing on annual gifts, major gifts, and planned gifts. He comes to the Seminary with years of experience in advancement and previously worked as a lawyer.

Carolyn Cranston '99, director of alumnae/i and church relations, has served as an administrator since 2000. She is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania (B.S.) and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary (M.Div.).Carolyn is ordained as Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PC(USA) and serves as a part-time associate pastor at Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church.
Connie Gundry Tappy, senior writer and resource strategist, joined the advancement staff in 2009 and has served as project administrator of the Seminary-sponsored Zeitah Excavations since 1999. She earned her bachelor’s in religious studies from Westmont College and her master's in theological studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
