During Spring 2020 and in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Pittsburgh Seminary—like schools around the country—shifted to online learning. Though meeting virtually, students were able to continue preparing for ministry and complete the semester online.

Interested in sitting in on a virtual class this summer or fall? Let us know! Additionally, we're happy to coordinate a Zoom meeting with faculty and program directors so you can learn more about the degree and certificate programs that Pittsburgh Seminary has to offer. This fall we're planning to resume in-person instruction.

Here Dr. John Burgess, James Henry Snowden Professor of Systematic Theology, leads his class "Spiritual Practices for Ministry" through a discussion of spiritual practices in the lives of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Dorothy Day. Listen in as Dr. Burgess and students share their reflections from assigned readings and their personal contexts.
