Facing the Future with Faith: Imagining a Just World for All

As we celebrate 35 years as Pittsburgh Theological Seminary’s Metro-Urban Institute, we embrace this time as a Sankofa moment, where we are looking back as we go forward centered in community, harnessed by hope, judged by justice, and led by love.

We will have a Bible scholar, Dr. Obery M. Hendricks Jr., teaching an intensive course from his groundbreaking book, The Politics of Jesus, from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

We will celebrate our past and look to our future at the 35th Anniversary Banquet: 6:00 p.m. (Doors open at 5:30 p.m.)
