Pittsburgh Theological Seminary has named Thomas A. Hinds as vice president for finance and administration effective Oct. 10, 2016.

“Tom has the right mix of qualifications for the position,” said David Esterline, president and professor of cross-cultural theological education at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. “His education, corporate experience, and oversight of areas like finance and information technology at a Pittsburgh-based company position him well to oversee and continue our strong history of financial stewardship.”

Prior to coming to Pittsburgh Seminary, Hinds worked for Kraft Heinz Company and its affiliates in a number of roles on three continents. His positions covered global IT risk management, finance and human resources, project management, and compliance. Before working at Kraft Heinz, Hinds was an employee of Chiquita Brands International.
