Saying thanks 440 times!
The 2022 Day of Giving led to 440 gifts totaling $104,772 to support students and resource programs at Pittsburgh Seminary! People provided more gifts and more dollars this year than ever before.
Our work would not be possible without your continued support of our mission to prepare people for ministry in the way of Jesus. Your gifts enable us to provide generous financial aid to our students and continue educating seminarians, grads, and lay and church leaders through our resource programs.
“In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
— Philippians 1:4-6
In addition, our Seminary is now discerning who it will be in the years to come—and your generosity will help propel us in whatever direction God leads. Our president the Rev. Dr. Asa Lee explains, “We have a great opportunity to inform the public square by discerning who a neighbor is. This was an important concept for Jesus, and it will lead us to wrestle with the theology of neighbors in community and the work of building neighborhoods. This sort of engagement will fuel the church of today and tomorrow.”
If you didn’t get a chance to support us this year but would like to help fuel the church of today and tomorrow, please mail your check with “GivePTS22” in the memo line to Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Attn: Advancement, 616 N. Highland Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15206.
