From Nature to Creation: What Difference Does it Make?
In this conversation Fred Bahnson and Norman Wirzba will explore how the way we treat the natural world has everything to do with how we think about it. Too often we take the world for granted. Discovering the world as God’s creation opens the possibility for a more beautiful, healthy, and just life.
As part of the 74th Summer Leadership Conference focused on the theme of "The Good Earth: Creation and Ministry in an Ecological Age," Wirzba and Bahnson will present the J. Hubert Henderson Lecture on Church and Ministry June 8, 2015, at 4:30 p.m. at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. This lecture is free and open to the public and is part of the larger conference being held from June 7-10, 2015.
Registration to attend the lecture is requested so that we may plan appropriately for our guests. Details about other events during the Henderson Summer Leadership Conference can be found at www.pts.edu/SLC_2015. If you're coming for the free lecture, you may also be interested in the Farm to Table Banquet with local chefs Kevin Sousa and Tom Barnard. Tickets are $30 and the meal begins at 6:00 p.m.
