This Grant Writing Workshop will be led by POISE Foundation’s Karris Jackson. Jackson will be sharing information on how 501c3 designated organizations can acquire corporate and foundation funding. The public is welcome to attend, admission is free. 

Jackson is the chief operation officer at POISE Foundation, a community foundation focused exclusively on supporting the African American community. Her responsibilities include managing the Foundation’s grant making portfolio, convening community stakeholders, and advancing the Foundation’s mission through public policy, leadership, and advocacy. She has a strong desire to push the boundaries of philanthropy to be more inclusive and effective at addressing issues impacting the Black community.
