In the Heights and Depths with C. S. Lewis
Online Class
Instructor
Edith Humphrey, William F. Orr Professor of New Testament, PTS
Dates
Sept. 18-Oct. 13, 2017
Overview
In this online course we will consider together two short books by Lewis: his children's novel, The Silver Chair, in which the reader quite literally explores heights and depths, while also considering some heady and challenging concepts; and his most debated adult novel, The Great Divorce, in which we visit Heaven with a busload of visitors from the world of shadows. Be prepared for adventures, both theological and practical, as we read.
The class will be self-paced and available for participants to engage with the instruction at their own convenience, i.e., offered asynchronously, no set times that you need to sit in front of your computer. If you would like more information, e-mail .
