Fairhill PC (now Heritage PC) called him from Omaha to Lincoln, where he served for four years as solo pastor. Returning home, Dave was associate pastor for evangelism and community outreach at First PC of Sharon, Pa. He then worked for 16 years as head of staff at First PC of Meadville, Pa. Following his time there, Dave moved to Tryon PC in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Finally he served First PC of St. Petersburg, Fla., and retired from there in 2015. He now moderates the Western Region Committee on Ministry of Tampa Bay Presbytery and volunteers at the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
Additionally, Dave has served on and moderated a variety of presbytery and synod committees and has taught at conferences and in seminary classes.
