Process: The Student Association shall appoint an Election Committee and its Chair for the purpose of supervising and implementing the Election of Student Association Officers. The Election Committee shall be responsible for the nominations, balloting, and tallying of the votes for Student Association elections.
No candidate for office may be a member of the Election Committee.
Additionally, there are several positions available for students to serve as representatives on faculty committees next academic year. Please take time to nominate your colleagues for consideration by the Appointment Committee* in September 2023. (*The Appointment Committee consists of the Student Association President and Vice President, and the Deans of Faculty and Students.)

Hearing Readiness Panel

Hearing Readiness Panel

Hearing Readiness Panel is the group from which a Hearing Team is drawn when complaints conveyed by the Seminaryâs Harassment Policy cannot be otherwise resolved (see Student Handbook, Harassment Policy). The Hearing Team hears and makes recommendations for resolution. The Panel has three student representatives appointed by the Appointment Committee.

Commencement Committee

Middler

Commencement Committee

The Commencement Committee convenes in the fall of the academic year prior to the year of the Commencement event. It plans the Baccalaureate Service, and sees to other details of Commencement. At the beginning of the academic year, two student representatives are chosen from the Middler Class for a two year term
(those who anticipate being Seniors and graduating in the following academic year).

Worship Committee

Worship Committee

The Worship Committee shall be responsible for morning worship in the Hicks Memorial Chapel, ensuring that quality, variety, and dignity will be upheld at all times; the reporting of other services of worship held on campus; the scheduling and reporting of all celebrations of the Lordâs Supper; and enhancing the spiritual life of the Seminary community.

The Financial Aid Committee meets annually to review financial aid policies, present changes to the policy, and review appeals and exceptions (appeals and exceptions are on a case by case basis and require ad hoc meetings as they arise).
