Urban Leadership Series

MUI's Urban Leadership Series is comprised of workshops and lectures aimed at equipping organizations and individuals with the tools to address issues in urban communities. The sessions are held on the first Monday of the month beginning at 6:00 p.m. with networking and hors d’oeuvres and a 6:30 p.m. presentation. Join us for these free events!

Heather Arnet, from the Women’s and Girls Foundation will provide information about gender discrimination and how it has impacted women and girls for decades. Additionally, teens from GirlsGov, a Women and Girls Foundation program, will share their experience raising awareness about issues affecting women and girls and how they have advocated to eliminate sexism. The Metro-Urban Institute encourages and provides ways for all PTS seminarians to become involved in the broader urban community.
