Pittsburgh Seminary celebrated the installation of five faculty members--Leanna Fuller, Scott Hagley, Angela Hancock, Roger Owens, and Drew Smith--to endowed chairs.
The Rev. Dr. L. Roger Owens, professor of Christian spirituality and minsitry, will deliver the Hugh Thomson Kerr Chair in Pastoral Theology Lecture—"The Good Enough Pastor? Reimagining Pastoral Excellence for a Post-Pandemic Church" Oct. 25, 2022.
The Rev. Dr. Angela Dienhart Hancock has been appointed vice president for academic affairs and dean of faculty. She will continue in her role as professor.

Professor Leanna K. Fuller will deliver the Joan Marshall Chair in Pastoral Care Lecture, "To Heal and to Bless: Practicing Reconciliation in a Polarized Age," Sept. 29, 2022.
The Seminary community mourns the loss of the Rev. Dr. James Durlesser '78/'80, who died Aug. 16, 2022. At the time, he was serving as visiting professor of doctor of ministry studies.
